2-6 is a heckuva lot better than 1-7...
Today was a nice game! The Phillies really put together a nice string of hits: they kept getting on base in the eighth and giving the big bats a shot at hitting them home. Too bad we couldn't capitalize on that bases loaded situation at the bottom of the eighth.
Other impressions:
-The bullpen did a great job after Padilla left: just two hits and a walk over four innings of work.
-Ironically, Byrd hit better in the No. 7 slot than as No. 1.
